i'm supposed to mention this posts ago, but better late than never i always say. and i when i said i always say means i DO always say it especially for those who's always known me. LOL

what i'm supposed to mention is, why and where the hell did my previous awesome blog skin go?! basically the codes crashed so i copied it onto a note and got a replacement skin (which is this one) as i tried to fix the initial one. guess what? *poof* at the most convenient of times the acer lappy would always be more than happy to provide you the greatest inconvenience and FYL up. 3 words. fucking blue screen.

anw this skin isn't that bad. turned out better than expected. i don't know what anime is this that is present in the skin but it looks cool and i might watch it.

besides that. hols are here, and i'm not feeling it one bit. friday's lesson ended and i didn't feel the hit of the atmosphere. ask jonger, he was there when i realised that school just ended and the hols are coming. also, i've got 2 incoming camps. replug camp and guitar ensemble. looking forward to both of it. :)

finally able to blog, been busy lately.
2 things, replug auditions and pp scope deadline.
was busy practising and contemplating alot on what songs should I play for the audtions, i was initially planning to play "Close To You" on the guitar but I decided on "City of Delusion" by Muse in the end because I realised it had a catchy spanish tune and the chords were pretty impressive and fun to play. I just stuck with "We Walk" by The Ting Tings all along for the piano. Slightly disappointed in myself but I guess it could've gone worse.
PP Scope wasn't that bad, didn't touch much about it till the day right before submission, kinda panicked but I nailed it on the day itself and got it approved.

Now with those done it feels like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders right?

WRONG!

I just got back frm sch and I feel pretty much tired these days since school started. I'm not feeling my normal self... probably because i'm sleeping like a "normal" person. These days I get tired rather early. as early as about 8pm. makes it easier to wake up in the morning though.

i need an IG, and I have alrdy a few planned in mind. the IG Fair starts tmrw and will last for 3 school days. I have pretty much considered the following: Replug, Guitar Ensemble and Athletics (Sprinting). we'll just see how things go the next few days that will affect my deciding factor.

oh yeah the reason why i'm blogging again is most probably because school's started

school starts = increase in circulation of readers x i don't want to disappoint the hoppers passing by

although i know my blog isn't exactly a first choice of destination, it wouldn't hurt to entertain them abit.

PS. i feel like changing my skin even though i know how awesome this skin is, but it has its downsides as you can tell it's quite buggy. or rather aggravating that when a long column extends and you have to scroll all the way down just to reach the next one, and when you finally gave your hand a workout and click it the browser will start jerking back up conforming to the minimal length of the page. it would be nice if i had your opinion ppl. thanks :)

Madness. Apparently it seems I'm so caught up in my thoughts and have totally gone bonkers from all the pressure of it. I've never found myself so involved in something like this so emotional or dramatic whatever suits the situation, I admit it's my first. I've never been so fed up with myself. I've been having sleepless nights since Christmas eve, and it's taking a toll on me. I just learned something new about myself though, that I tend to eat a hell lot when I get into this state. Also for instance the first few words that came out of Shahrir's mouth when I saw him today was that I looked pale. I couldn't make sure of it myself cause there wasn't a mirror nearby. -.- What do I look like, a vampire? haha. Which leads me to the next topic;

Twilight. I watched it a couple of days ago and what's with all the disappointment? It was alright (remember my theory and I haven't read the book)! I thought it's worth the ticket money, also the storyline is something very unique as compared to other love stories. I mean it's always about one human battling for his raging love for another human, but this. This is vampires. Very interesting point of view for a change. haha. Although I guess it's dpdp, as always (Quoted from Cass :P). But what got me hyped up (sorta) for Twilight was when I was checking the soundtrack at HMV Heeren while waiting for the screening time, and I saw MUSE's Supermassive Blackhole as one of the track! The first track to it in fact. Bloody hell, all my hopes shot right up for Twilight that I was starting to get paranoid it would disappoint me too. Hahaha. But the latest hit "Decode" by Paramore totally go me HOOKED. And I mean hooked like it's playing like a broken record in my mind, and whenever I pick up my guitar I will definitely, instinctively, play the "unreal" riff from Decode. And the acoustic version of it is nothing short of brilliant. It is by far the best Paramore has to offer, for me. Which leads me to another topic again;

Holidays are nearly over, ZOMG! But it's alright, I've got one HUGE THING to look forward to next year. TALENT QUEST '09! For those who are already lost on wth am I talking about, visit here. Exactly what you're thinking. My band is participating! TOTALLY GOT ME EXCITED AND PUMPING MAN! HAHAHA. That's cause this is the first time the band has ever decided to take a higher and serious step in the local music industry. So it's all very new to me and most others. Thus, I pray that we will benefit from the experience and at least make it through the auditions (which is this Sunday, 5th Jan). But heck, we're aiming all the way! WOOHOO! I'll introduce you to the band first.

Syazwan (Lead Guitarist) - Me, of course

No sorry but unfortunately I won't be putting any pictures up for recognititon and yes, female vocalist. Inevitably, apparently, we cover Paramore songs (especially Decode! WAHAHAHA). Most of the genres we cover are punk/pop/rock/alternative. However our influences vary widely among the individual band members. Shazlin and Shahrir are pretty into the same thing, punk/rock/alternative. Josiah's into acid jazz. Shi Hng's is punk/rock/alternative/screamo/metal. Mine would be progressive rock/classical/alternative/pop. Which is good for the band I think, because of the wide exposure of range of music that we have that we can and hopefully might be able to blend and mix the variety to see fit in creating our originals. Currently we have 2 originals. One is fully complete while the other has the guitar/vocals/piano parts down. We have never performed live yet, that is why hopefully through the competition we can gain valuable experiences and opportunities. If we ever make it through the auditions that is.

All in all, with all the frustrating thoughts messing up my mind I'm glad I have the band as a distraction. I tried to get a job for the same reason but to no avail. The band is all I have now. Now I see why they say your band is a disfunctional family (quoted from the loading screen of Guitar Hero III). Hahaha. This Sunday huh. Then let's do this. (:

P.S. I found the trailer to the movie "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" that I mentioned in a recent post. I'm gonna just put it here in case you're interested. hahaha. It's um... weirdly interesting.

I don't know if you even visit my blog, but I thought it's just better if I let it out there, but not really. If you know what I mean. Hah. I doubt you even care about me la. Nvm. Never have I been so serious or so sure of what I want. Never has a girl taught me to love unselfishly, yet taught me how deep this love can cut and hurt you at the same time. Have you ever loved to such a large extent that you confuse yourself in the end? Not Feeling The Holiday Mood

I want to watch Twilight. HAHAHA. I know, you're probably sick of hearing this by many others already. But seriously, it seems interesting. The trailer at least. I haven't read the book myself so I'm basically going in with no expectations. Maybe that's why many others find it disappointing or not as good as they expected it to be, because they've read the book. So my advice to you is, don't read the book first?

It's pretty much similar to Harry Potter's case if you look at it this way. Comparing the book to the movie... yeah, you know.

Also I've just watched Sky of Love, a Japanese movie recommended to me by a Japanese girl wannabe friend of mine. It's the best non-english movie I've ever seen. To think about it, it's the only non-english movie I've ever seen. Nonetheless the movie is great. The whole stretch of it. If the girls ever feel like shedding a tear (or rather a stream of tears), this is the movie to catch. For guys? I don't know, just watch. It might teach you a thing or two about love I hope.

LASTLY, the 3rd movie I'm gonna talk to you about is The Day The Earth Stood Still! But I'm not gonna talk to you about it in this post, because it's gonna be loooong. Hahaha

I've been suffering like an aging man for nearly 3 weeks and counting from the rather persistent sickness I've had. I swear it does make me feel like an old man. I couldn't walk a long distance without getting a little out of breath. Just a little. Also I couldn't really laugh heartily without coughing at the same time. It's messed up I know. Rest be assured I'm gradually getting better, slowly but surely.

I was at Thomson today and I started wondering should I really shift over? Oh yeah, I should fill you in that my parents once asked if I don't mind shifting to Thomson to live with my granduncle and rent out our house here at Tampines. Of course it sounds tempting, it'll provide me faster access to Republic Polytechnic and to town. Thomson has as many basic facilities and necessities available in order to survive in this mundane life of mine. Also the rented house back at Tampines will prove to provide a satisfiable income. The mall, Junction 8, is also expanding and constantly upgrading which makes it competitive to the 3rd upcoming mall of Tampines called, Tampines One. All in all, Thomson would definitely prove to be a logical choice.

So is it a tough choice?

However the decision was already made the moment I thought about it. Made by none other than my bros, my best friends and other great friends living near a place where I already call home. I know too many loveable folks here in the East, and I can't bear to live far from them. Hahaha, I sound as though I'm moving overseas. But seriously, home is where the heart is. And to leave Tampines is to leave my heart behind. I may have stayed at the house at Thomson in my toddler years, but Tampines is where I grew up to understand the world around me. I'm just glad my parents feel the same way about Tampines, and deicded that we should stay here afterall.

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all I know, for whoever I was. Someone who was in his own world. Someone who was too naive to take things seriously or correctively. Just someone who wasn't entirely in his right mind. Hahaha. I know who I was, and I was all but realistic. I want to ensure you, I've changed for the better, and my intentions has always been and will always be out of what I felt was right. Different people, different perception (DPDP). That's what they always say, and that's what is always right. I am still striving to being the best of myself and the road is long. But so what?

Woot! X08 is here! After 2 years since it's last event(X06), the party has arrived again! The first night (24th October) should be only exclusively to XboxLive(XBL) Gold Members. However, unlike X06, the same concept isn't entirely applied to X08. Details are pretty messy now about the authenticity of the XBL Gold Members in the event. Thus far it seems that the only confirmed information is that there will be a corner by the stage sealed off to XBL Gold Members only. Oh wells, as long as I get to try out Gears of War 2 first-hand and other games is fine by me. Anyway, I've already registered to confirm that I will be attending and will be getting a goodie bag. The goodie bags were great at X06, they gave away tshirts, free Microsoft Points for the XboxLive Market(XBLM) and many more. I hope this event's just better. I'm sure it is since Lara Croft (look at banner for info) will be there! =D

It's been awhile since I've played games on my 360 (or at least played it for more than an hour) and it's about time I get back to it. But of course there's a good reason to do that now. SO MANY FREAKING NEW AWESOME GAMES!

body lockdown / the first feast after the last fast

I'll get things going first by posting about today.

I'll start off by telling you about this morning when I first reached school. I could've been mistakenly pronounced dead, at 0900 hours to 1130 hours aprox. Was dead tired when I woke up in the morning today, most probably due to me sleeping 3 days in a row at 0300 hours and waking at 0730 hours for school. I have no idea why my Enterprise faci didn't even bother to wake me up during lesson. WHY?! However, my classmates did try to wake me during the first break to go down and eat with them... but to no avail. I have to admit, the feeling was "shiok" afer I woke up! Heh. 2 hours and a half. Nice.

I had a weird dream though, especially towards the end. I dreamt that I woke up just when it's my team's turn to present our slides. It felt freaking real, that I totally panicked like hell in my dream. But hey, presto, somehow I knew how to present whatever I had to. AND, I was presenting on this theory regarding economics called the "Donut Effect". It is an effect whereby the company seem to have to "attack the center of the economy" (which is the hole of the donut) and thus we will get "a donut effect" which can be very "effective for business". Very surprising indeed that I can know so much in a split of a second, if those last few sentences even made sense. The best part is that, I woke up again (this time for real, cause I can tell ._. ) in the midst of the faci going through this question on the worksheet regarding a Donut company. That's where the "Donut Effect" probably came from. Haha. It felt really awkward, waking up twice in a row making me feel rather confused, shocked (that I slept that long) and totally refreshed at the same time. Well that's that!

After school I MRT-ed to Dhoby Ghaut and met up with my mom and granduncle there for dinner. We ate at an Indo restaurant along this stretch of restaurants beside Plaza Singapura. Sadly I forgotten what it's called though, but it was the best meal ever since the fasting month! Had Fried Cat Fish Sambal with Rice and Tahu Telur. Loved it. My stomach was finally full and satisfied again after more than a month.

I remember in the first post I said I'd put effort in this blog like never before... and so I did!

After days of what seems like endless editing and code-hunting, I've come to a destination I never thought I'd reach. Bravo!

Also I'd like to take this opportunity to thank QY (for the knowledge of the codes she's taught me), Jueen (for this cool skin to start off with) and Sheryl (for helping out at the end of it all).

The first ever F1 Night Race in Singapore GP was a BANG! They let us onto the track after the whole race is finished. Right now I'm trying to organise the pictures and the videos that I took at the race from the Bay Grandstand and on the tracks itself. So I won't be posting it up just yet. F1 fever hits Singapore!

And it sure as hell got me good! I'm currently watching the racers' 2nd round of practise on Ch 5 Live now. Currently Alonso holds the fastest lap for the track, followed by Hamilton and Massa. I know! Like wth right? From what I see, most of the drivers haven't really warmed up to the track and have yet to be conformed to it. Both the drivers and their cars in fact. However it is a new track, and anything is possible for now. Let's keep our options open shall we?

Now apparently, I'm a Ferrari Fan. HAHAHA. NOT! I've always been a great fan of the German brand, BMW, and always will be. Go Heidfield and Kubica! =P

Can't wait for SUNDAY! Got a pass to Bay Grandstand, Dark Green (Lower). Woot! It's gonna be freaking awesome! And oh yeah, I have to sneak Cass into the circuit. Maybe you can hide in my big clothes and I'll act as a fat guy? How? Haha. Of course I'm joking.

Finally got in touch with the coach for the short-distance running IG (Ineterest Group) in RP. I can begin training this Friday but I'm still fasting then, so I'll probably start next week. Can't wait! =D

Today's lesson on Cognitive Processes II was very interesting. I find it amazing from what you can actually learn from these modules (Modules like Aenasthetic Issues In Culture or Communications). They offer very thought-provoking problems that revolves greatly around the way the world is and why so. Let it be from applying the idea of holism and atomism into our daily lives, to understanding how does the Occam's Razor help simplify the world we live but not make it simpler. For those who've studied these, you know what I'm talking about. Haha. It's actually very useful knowledge that one can hope to acquire in living a beneficial life in their individual ways. Enterprise is also beneficial. I'm actually rather glad to learn from all these modules before going deeper into our own courses. Just that some are rather unnecessary, which should be simplified of. Hahaha.

We are now on the 23rd day of Ramadhan, according to the Islamic calendar. To all those who has fasted for all the days of Ramadhan that has passed, congratulations. Roughly only a week is left until the month is over. Which also means... HARI RAYA! Another thing to look forward to.

I haven't been touching my guitar for awhile now, and I just picked it up just now. BOOM. Immediately all my rocker instincts starts pounding in and I played any songs my fingers could remember. ANYTHING. Instantly after that I had the urge to learn new songs. IT WAS A MUST. So after 2 hours, I've managed to learn Take Me Out and Do You Want To by Franz Ferdinand. Sadly, I could also only manage to learn & play through the first quarter of the Afterlife guitar solo. Every other part of the song was done. Afterlife is by Avenged Sevenfold by the way. I better start posting more often, since SOMONE's always saying my blog is so dead. Haha. I just don't really have time to postt. Been busy busy busy!

Anyway, I'm supposed to get my pay days ago. However, notice just came that payday's been pushed from 1 - 2 week's time. THE HELL. I need to get my stuff that I've been dying to get for a freaking long time.

alamak. There's totally no time nowadays to blog... I've only got time to write half-written posts, only ending up adding onto the post each passing day cause I always have something else more important to do mid-way through.

oh yeah, abt the post that I have promised to dedicate to that special someone (you know who you are), I'll write it some other time alright? I need my mind to be mint fresh so I can write a perfect post about you. Haha. (:

School's started. It did on Wednesday. I'm sure like everyone else, the first day in a new class would mean a rather intense/quiet day naturally. And I couldn't help but smile when I sat at my group with my new team, in a new class. Don't you feel that odd/funny feeling? Haha. I just couldn't help it, I pretty much smiled to myself while glancing around or simply staring at my laptop. Also I sorta laughed to myself also, no thanks to Cass. We were chatting online, and I pretty much made her look like a fool smiling to herself too in her class. It was just so funny. Anyway, I never knew I miss W14E

SO MUCH

until I met them again at the very first breakout on the first day. Lol. There's no class like it, and there will never be. Sadly, that class will be like a once-in-a-lifetime kinda thing. Cause we will never be together again, doing the things we used to do and love to do ever again, as a class. Again. Ever! For the rest of our poly lives! Very sad. SO it's important that we catch up with each other VERY often to keep in touch. Although by the end of Fri, the new class is already starting to warm-up to each other and that's a good sign. I'm certain that by the end of next week, the class would be comfortable enough. Hopefully.

Also on Wed, jam practise with the band after school at SP. Went rather well, better than the previous one at least. Shazlin has an iPhone! Sheesh...

Just came back from Geylang just now. Bought a heck load of stuff. My mom just grabbed anything she thinks she needs and my dad is just grabbing all the snacks/food. I just bought my baju kurung today as well. Haha. I just can't wait for Hari Raya! I'm not sure exactly why but I'm actually looking forward to it.

Time is currently... 5:09:31 am. I'm just posting this to pass the time while waiting for my turn to bathe. Dad's bathing now, he's up early cause he has an appointment to fetch or send someone I don't know. Yeah, he's working as a driver. And um... oh yeah I'm up early because I'm meeting Rasyad and Sham later at 7.30am for breakfast. Breakfast at TM's Mcdonalds. After that we'll be heading to Tampines Secondary School. The new one in Bedok, not the old one (for those who know what I mean. haha). What forr? It's teachers' day man, wake up and smell the roses, meet your juniors and your teacherrs! Haha. Reminisce the good old times in your school, catch up with old buddies. Alright? Have fun. Cause I miss the old days. Who doesn't?

Didn't sleep a wink tonight. YAWNNN* Why? I don't know why. I was just up awake doing stuff on the internet abt 1am-ish, facebook youtube and stuff then next thing I know it's too late to sleep. woke up and went to gym. went home for a rest and resumed house cleaning. Been considereing many things, and have decided to join Track & Field IG, if there is any.

tuesday

woke up and had a relaxing breakfast. went to the movies with Jun Weng, Kelvin, Joe and Joel. We watched Death Race which featured Jason Statham. I watched his Transporter movies and became a fan of him and his driving scenes ever since. All the more I looked forward to Death Race, and it didn't let me down! I felt it passed in everyway. Action , story, you name it!

AND what better way to watch an awesome movie at an awesome theatre like The Grand Cathay. To top it off, all for only SGD$6.oo! Yeah baby haha.

Of course after that the day couldn't end so swiftly. Went to the arcade at Plaza Singapura and walked around abit.
But guess who we bumped at the arcade? of course Jason man! haha. Another fellow classmate for your info. That idiot poked me while I was blowing up planes on the Afterburner game, the simulated plane shooter game. y'know.

Didn't know what to do after that, so? GO HOME! Lo & behold the new class has been announceddddd. and leo is so called down for maintenance. which is bs when people can access it through placing the link in theirmsn convos. why is leo there when we don't want it and not there when we do?! Anyway, my class for the rest of the year will be...(insert drumroll track here)

then later on Halimah gave me a call cause Sinah and Alif was just bothering her ( in the middle of the freaking night), we were chatting on msn while she's on the phone with them on hands-free earpiece (style ah tu, haha). So I thought maybe I could check out what's the problem. It turns out, that Sinah and Alif can just shoot nonsense with each other non-stop. They just keep stacking and stacking all their crap, leaving no space for words or comments to put in! I have no idea how can they keep up with their nonsense. Get your own line! lol. Now I understand why Limah couldn't take it. Haha. In then end we just chat online while listening to them babble.

Alif + Sinah + on the phone at late night = beyond help (hahaha)

gym again. house cleaning again. another typical day. and for those who knows that I'm suddenly into sprinting and goes "Oh another one who got INSPIRED by the olympians and wants to be like them just because their idols won and got medals" is partially wrong. That's just part of it. I've just grown more health-conscious in my life lately and wanted to find a sport that I could hold onto to keep me fit and healthy. I've been watching what I'm eating for awhile now, cause I've realised that I used to be very unhealthy in my diet. I've thought about it, and everything that you do know will affect your lifestyle in the future. Anything like the lack of sleep, the unhealthy amount of nutrients intake you had, can chip off the years in your life when you grow old. So start now people, one life and live it. Go look up about this online. ;)

Also some of you may already know, I was in the Floorball school team, 2nd Division but I didn't come at all after knowing the fact that they'll be training from Mon - Thurs for off-seasons and Mon-Fri for on-seasons. I can't really commit that much to something that I don't really like now do I? So I searched on for a sport that isn't gonna eat up my after-school life, and decided, Track & Field is the way to groove baby!

Just got back from dinner with parents at TM, it's been awhile since I had a decent time with them...

ANYWAYS let's see, what else did I want to post about...

OKAY. Luge baby! What they quote is so true, "ONCE IS NEVER ENOUGH!" Just went for it during the Sentosa outing with the other marshals from WCG on Sunday. Absolutely brilliant, I love it. The thrill of riding downhill with nothing but the luge and your body is absolutely priceless. For those speed demons and extrem-ers, you'll definitely love Luge. Tickets are sold at SGD$10.00 for a ride, but like it says ... c'mon man you gotta take the 2 ride tickets at only around SGD$18+/-. I recommend you take it at night, you should be able to imagine why. ;)

Also the luge kinda looks alot like this ride I have. I used to play it when I was in primary school. How do I explain this hmm... It looks alot like the luge, and... well it doesn't have any brakes on it and it's not really meant for downhill riding apparently. Which is very unlike the luge. It's more for verticular ground, cause you sit on it and swing the handle side to side to propel yourself forward gradually. And it's blue. Haha. I still have it somewhere, rotting away along with my scooter and skateboard. Yeah, don't really use them now. I'm more of a scooter fan than anyhting though.

P.S. BIG NEWS! Et's going home!!! Hahaha! No not that! Eng Teck (Secondary School classmate)! Can't wait till I see you again in September dude!

GOD I miss this game! It is considered my all-time favourite Final Fantasy game of the WHOLE series (well maybe until FFXIII comes out on the Xbox360... just maybe)! I know I know, the system is not to your liking, the character design are rather immature but DPDP (different ppl, different perception). I love it the way it is. (:

And the reason why I brought it up all of a sudden is because, I'm hooked playing it again! And the best part is that I can play it anywhere I go! Anytime! Although credits have to go to Joel (my classmate, 1st Sem W14E), another fellow FFIX fan. Haha. If he hadn't told me about this I wouldn't be able to relive one of my favourite childhood memories. Thanks again man!

Gosh, who knew you could actually play Playstation games on it. Of course... it's not exactly a 'right' thing to be able to in the first place but I'm sure all these is very much out there already. And if you're wondering what the hell am I talking about, it's for me to know and for you to conclude. d:

This is gonna keep me occupied till many other highly anticipated games will be released towards the end of this year. Most of them will be released in November. Such are Gears of War 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Fable 2. All of them I will be buying for the Xbox 360 of course. I already have the money savely placed away in the bank. It's been awhile since I last truly touched my console and played games anyway, so I guess it will be a great way to start off again. Just hope it doesn't make me too lazy sitting on my arse all the time. Gotta train more too! AND not forgetting school! Prioritise. Yeah.

Hello world! Sorry to keep all of you waiting for eons for this post, however I am sad to say that I had indeed attempted to post a long entry yesterday night which did not seem to get through, or whatever happened to it. :S This will do for now I guess.

It's been a pretty busy weeek lately. Had such a blast, not only myself but my wallet as well! I haven't received my pay yet!

Went to Sentosa on Sunday. Had class chalet from Mon - Wed. Just visited the gym yesterday, which is Thursday. Moreover, everything in between goes to doing some pre-fasting cleaning that is considered as a "tradition" for my family. It is something that we do anually before we start fasting so as to prepare for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations and we will have more energy cleaning as compared to the fasting period. However, there's definitely always this sudden changes that my mom likes to make to the house towards the end of the fasting month, like the shifting of furnitures or the repainting of the walls. Never fail to do so every year. Haha.

And oh yeah, the whole of Downtown/Costa Sands/Aloha was ruled by RP man! RP-ians could be spotted at everywhere corner, every room, every bbq pit! Lol. Well it's quite apparent since we're the only ones having holidays, but still I didn't think a number or RP-ians would rent the place in that same timeline as many others. Isn't that great? Haha. However, our holidays are the shortest compared to the other polytechnics. I heard from my friends that their holidays last 2 months! Which is too much of a bargain for me at least. Looking at the 1 month holidays we had in secondary school, I find it draggy enough and I'd wind up into siansation. Still enjoy your holidays guys!

Woohoo! First post is done. Hahaha. I guess I've found the joy in blogging that everyone does.

Before this post goes any further, I believe an opening is in order.

I hereby declare this blog open and fully functional, at 0512 hours on the August 16th 2008.

Just had to do that. Haha. As only few of you may already know, this is not exactly my first blog but rather the very first that I have decided to put effort in and actually intend to make it running for a long term. The last I posted in my old blog was actually about 2 to 3 years ago. To commemorate the times I spent on that blog back then, in times renewed, I shall bring back a post of a story I brought up that gives a very strong message to all. Enjoy.

The Difference

As an old man strolled down the beach at dawn,
he noticed a boy ahead of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea.
Finally catching up with the boy,
he asked why was he doing this.
The boy answered that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sun.
So the old man said,"But my boy, the beach goes on for miles and miles and the are millions of starfish," the old man said,
"How can your effort make a difference?"

The boy looked at the starfish in his hand for a moment and then threw it safely into the waves.
